Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. Favourite track: In a Big Country
Knew this album from release - led into it by my big sister. The guitar sounds and interchange between them is pretty unique. There is sometimes a simplicity to the playing with clean crisp notes played, sometimes it also has a feel of bagpipes! But love this album, particularly tracks The Storm, Lost Patrol, Porroh Man and Angle Park in addition to the more familiar singles.
Love this album, a standout album from my least favorite decade of music, good from beginning to end and doesn't show it's age compared to other 80's albums.

My favourite album of all time....... ever. Bought this when at college in the 80's, still play it regularly and it still rocks out with the best.

I bought this album in 1983. Consistently good, great guitars. Still sounds good today!
