I’ve been a fan of this Melbourne band since their 2015 debut with their trade mark 80’s sound complete with synths and baritone vocals
Big surprise with this album though and it’s less of the retro sound and in most parts presents as a straight up Indi rock album
Clear stand out track is the wonderful “Lucy Bradley “ which could well be my favourite song in 2019
CCD make it 3 good albums in succession and I look forward to where they go next
