An obscure wah wah soaked heavy blues rock album from the group that gave the world Christine McVie. This album is however a 1972 version of the band in the form of trio Stan Webb guitarist, John Glascock bassist and Paul Hancox drums. If you like your blues/rock heavy, edgy and raw this album is for you. Webb is a chronically under- appreciated guitarist in the Freddie King mold and still leads the band until the present day. He is amply supported by the rhythm section and between them they have made an exciting, raw, energetic album.
The first 5 tracks are the best with Daughter of the Hillside and Poor Boy the pick of the bunch.
