Rating metrics: Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)

This album is rated in the top 1% of all albums on BestEverAlbums.com. This album has a Bayesian average rating of 81.9/100, a mean average of 81.4/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 82.4/100. The standard deviation for this album is 15.3.

This record starts off brilliantly with 4 songs all in a row that just hit. All of them are unique and they flow extremely well from one track to the next. They are very catchy and they were stuck in my head for hours after I stopped listening to the album. The songs after this are still of a decent quality but there is definitely a dip and the music does lose its way a little. There are glimpses of greatness on some of the songs and the production value does remain very high throughout. However, the consistency isn't there in the songs and that does drag the album down for me. Also, it does drag and there is a few songs that go on for too long or they could be cut completely as they feel unnecessary. Overall, there are some amazing ideas on here but they just aren't consistent throughout the whole release.

I'd heard of this album and artist, but I wasn't prepared for how awesome this is. This is BEAUTIFUL! The jazz moments are woven in so well. Some parts (eg. World's End Rhapsody) remind me too much of The Avalanches, but there are some awesome beats, tunes, and raps on here.

I don't listen to hip hop a whole lot, but I will make an exception for artists like nujabes! This helped change my mind about hip hop after growing up being tormented by hearing stuff like lil wayne and wiz Kalifa from everyone at school. Cise Starr, featured on "Feather" is my favorite rapper and I also really like his group CYNE.

I don't listen to hip hop a whole lot, but this is definitely my favorite hip hop album to listen to. Props to nujabes and all the great rappers he collaborated with

Finally broke the top 2000! This thing really deserves more attention. Easily should be in the top 500 at least.

Love this album so much. One of the best hip hop of the 2000's and one of the most overlooked albums of this decade.

Not quite up to the quality of Metaphorical Music, but another top-class instrumental hip-hop release from Nujabes.
