Not to be confused with the band with the same name from the Netherlands (who were active during the early 80s), this band is from Sweden and are more of a power-pop act, along the lines of bands like Spacehog, Franz Ferdinand, the Futureheads, Pulp (maybe), and so on. The singer sounds sort of like a cross between The Wannadies' Pär Wiksten (they were on the same record label as them) and the Boomtown Rats' Bob Geldof, but maybe I just lack imagination and he actually sounds like two completely different people. Track 8, "Nostalgia Locomotive," was a fairly big hit in Sweden and features a nice duet with singer Kris Le Mans, who in turn is not to be confused with the 24-hour-long Formula 1 auto racing event which is older and not as good-looking. Anyway, the songs on the album are well put-together and catchy, but they needed a much better band name, and they were more "pop" than "power" at a time when it would have been better to be the other way around. Still, a pretty good record.
