Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. best pop LP of 1970.
In the late '60s and early '70s Elvis was quite inspired and in the best voice of his life. This album brings some of his best recordings: "Mary In The Morning", "I´ve Lost You", "Twenty Days And Twenty Nights", "Stranger In The Crowd", "Bridge Over Troubled Water", etc. The only problem is the lack of unity, mixing live and studio recordings, unfortunately, a common thing in the complicated and mishandled Elvis discography in the 70´s. Still, a great and historic album.
