Good stuff but ultimately overlong with not enough variety. A return to old school rap that weaves stories of life focused on recurring motifs associated with "blue" in various senses of the word.
So much good music here. "Miles Davis" and "The End" are favorites. It's ridiculously long, but I can't decide whether that adds to or detracts from its greatness. It's tough to get through the whole thing in one sitting, but taken in pieces, it's all fantastic.
