I've seen some comments on this album as being more "upbeat" and "optimistic" than it's predecessor Dum Dum, but I can't agree with that. Yes there are more "upbeat" melodies and the sound of the album isn't so bass-driven as Dum Dum, but the lyrics are just as dark as on that album, and it's actually because of this contrast, that I feel this is an even sadder, more sincere and more emotional album (in contrast to "pure depression" of Dum Dum). The problem I have with this album (and the reason that it's not my favourite EKV album) is that is not consistent throughout. The cover of Time's Istina Mašina, for example, feels unnecessary. But overall a great swansong by the band.
