Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. So many extraordinary performances from such a wide diversity of rock music royalty ~ giving tribute to one of modern music's true geniuses (Bob Dylan). We are now 30 years later (2022) = so the concert marks the half way point in Bob's songwriting career - a remarkable achievement in itself. I've been so moved by Eddie Vedder's performance of 'Masters of War' that I have included it in my top 100 'Dylan covers' chart.
Dubbed "Bobfest" by Neil Young, this is a great concert recording of a tribute to Bob's first 30 years of recording. It's amazing that this diverse group of artists turned out to give tribute. It's amazing that this was over 20 years ago and he's still going strong.
