Phish has been described as the ultimate jam band for the post-grunge generation, and the eclectic New Englanders demonstrate their continuing jamming CV by performing "The Who's" entire "Quadrophenia" album live in concert on a Chicago stage on Halloween Night in 1995. Captured on this double disc set, appropriately titled "Quadrophenia", the band tears into the classic Who album, distributed by Midnight Express Records as an unofficial release in 1996, with surprising results. While Anastacio is no Daltrey or Townshend, the album sounds really great. It can be found listed on discogs.com among Phish's "Unofficial Releases".
