Reminds me a lot of Finally We Are No One, but less icy and more aquatic as the cover would suggest.

Beautifully interesting. Able to make a lot of different ideas out of similar sounds. I don't know any Japanese but still enjoy it a lot. Impressive acoustic. Shares some similarities with Nico's Chelsea Girls I think.
Too much water. Never enough.
Except on the tracks that don't quite have as much water, but Ichiko probably has the best vocal chops for 2020 singer/songwriters, by an ocean-wide margin.

Fantano really nailed this one. Great, great record. My favorite of its kind since Vashti Bunyan's Heartleap.
