Jan21. Well, we kick off with 'I Hate the World' on the day fuck-knuckles stormed Capitol Hill in the US. All lyrics here fully apply to today! I am definitely not promoting hate towards cyclists, but I am sure a lot of us can have a laugh at 'Twat on a Bike'. Holy shit! 'Duggie the Druggie' could have been written about my neighbour. Everything stated is exactly how this has played out. A very cool lead break in this one too.
'Dragged Up' is all sorts of fun. One of the best choruses this year. 'Inland Revenue' is a cool song about having nothing.
If you like some dumb but real-life fun now and then, then you will get a laugh out of this. Another band that just sings about everyday shit (which I love - see Dead Bars). Pretty sure that song titles like 'Twat on a Bike', 'Fuck with Me and I'll Block You on Facebook', 'Mr Hypacondriac' and 'Same Shit, Different Day' will indicate whether you will like this or not :D.
A fun dose of straight up punk and a bit of street punk thrown in. Does it go too far at times? A little (esp. condemning all vets on 'Vets Hate Pets'). Is it a bit samey? Yes (and could be trimmed a couple of songs). Does it offer many answers? No. Of course not. "Fuck off you gobshite critic", would be the answer to that. Not to be taken seriously and have fun. 3.5/5

A lot of hard work happens in the background to keep BEA running, and it's especially difficult to do this when we can't pay our hosting fees :(
