A typical retrospective on The Monkees' career released to correspond with the 1986 comeback by the group and featuring a couple of new songs. Arista Records (Cat # A2CD 8432). Despite the tag of "plastic", the Monkees did assemble a terrific stable of songwriters and musicians to craft and perform the songs they released. The songs were good. They hold up - the TV show that featured the songs, does not.
