(Serene, meditative Progressive electronic/new age/ambient album. Really a surprisingly textured and beautiful album that I recommend.)

I don't have a whole lot to say about this album. Its a new age album that does a great job creating a beautiful, meditative space where you can contemplate and think. The progressive electronic tones and the soft percussive elements are so beautiful and serene, the way the tracks almost all lock in with each other and build within themselves is remarkable. And, although I am not versed in ambient/new age sounds and textures so I may be missing basic and obvious similarities as a result, the sounds and the instrumental mix here does sound very unique and otherworldly to my ears.

This is the kind of album that I don't have a huge amount of context for, but seems like an amazing album to put on and listen to while doing daily activities and should be allowed to sort of sink into you. Its a beautiful record.

Apparently this is the last album Strom made before passing away in December of 2020, and looks like Strom has a good amount of music in her back catalogue, mostly under the name Trans-Millenia Consort. After a burst of music she made between 82 and 88 she gave up the music-making mostly and disappeared for some 20 years and came back with this album. I am intrigued based off the qualities of this album to check out more of her music and to check out more music of this general genre/style.
