Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. This album is an underrated, hidden gem. One of my biggest favorite.
Sounds fantastic on a good stereo with a lot of small details and professional mastering.
No bad track on this album, different tacks, but consistent mood so if you got it you will listen many times.

(Gosh! This album rules! The garage rock kicks ass, the psychedelic parts are suitably trippy, and the poppy songs are catchy as fudge brownies!)
I don't have much to say about this outside of what I said above. This is just a really cool, crunching, swaggering heavy psych/garage rock/punky/hardrocking album that was and is a breathe of fresh air for me after a couple months listening mostly to confessional singer/songwriter albums and wild stuff that is outside of my usual comfort zone. This is the right amount of weird and messy and noisy to keep me engaged and digging the musical choices. It also strikes the right balance between adrenalized garage punk and ear-candy effusively poppy melodies. The riffs are consistently sick as is really all the guitar work. And the vocalist is cool. I really REALLY like this album. I think you will too.
