Pylon that other Athens Georgia band that doesn’t start with R end in M or 52
Despite the considerable shadow cast by those 2 better know groups Pylon managed to scrounge out a respectable career not on album sales but rather critical appraisal and as a must see live act in the early 80’s. Here ‘Pylon Box’ pulls together remastered editions of their first 2 albums and ties everything together with a host of singles, remixes and demos across 47 wonderful tracks
An essential collection that represents an integral record of the primordial swamp Big Bang that ultimately lead to what we now know as College Rock
