An error in the original manufacturing of this album lead to it featuring the wrong Joe Williams on the cover. The mistake was corrected in later pressings, but the original showed Big Band singer Joe Williams, instead of 9 string blues guitarist Big Joe Williams. The error can be seen in the accompanying photo here on BEA.
The album was released by Pilz Entertainment, Inc. in 1993 Catalog No. 449320-2 Barcode: 0 36244 93202 9, as part of that label's Golden Legends Series. It is a bit of a rarity, and well-worth seeking out.
