This is a good Americana album. Lots of big sweeping strings, acoustic guitar earthiness, and a solid mix of Gospel and Country. The songwriting is solid and the vocals, while not my favorite, are consistently dramatic and interesting. Nothing here blew me away but it was a pretty listen.
