The New York born multi-instrumentalist makes his solo debut here with this 1986 album released on EMI America (Cat#: CDP 7 46587 2). The title track serves as a manifesto of sorts for the style of Jazz on can continue to expect throughout Najee's musical career and particularly this initial album. It is light and airy, with a sensitive groove, not boisterous and intrusive, but calming and sedate. The hardly there vocals only embellish this feeling. Also of note are the deep groove "Feels So Good To Me" and "For The Love Of You". A fine start to a subtle career.
