A teaming of powerhouse vocalist Nancy Wilson and innovative arranger Gerald Wilson's Orchestra transpired and was captured on this 1963 release on Capitol Records (Cat : CDP 7 96265 2). The Wilsons are not related, but one can detect a certain synchronicity in these songs, a sensitivity to one another, that makes this pairing magical. Wilson, the singer, was moving in her career from being strictly an R & B singer to one of the best Jazz singers in the business at the time of this recording. Authenticated on discogs.com
