The fifth solo release by British singer/songwriter John Wesley Harding find the contemplative songsmith pondering external dilemmas of the heart and more. His witty observations are most often accompanied by gentle acoustic guitar strumming and on occasion augmented by strings/orchestration. Forward Records, a subsidiary of Rhino Records, released this neofolk album in 1996, (Cat#: R2 72250) to minimal acclaim. It has grown in appreciation over the years. Authenticated on discogs.com
