At long last a debut LP from Still Woozy, the king of the lo fi hip hop bedroom artist. Still Woozy's strength is unquestionably his beats, songs like Get Down and That's Life show this best, the bass pops and there are great melodies to be heard, these are great dance along songs.

There is also a change of pace at times with a few slower numbers, my favourite track from the album 'Drake' is the best example of these more storytelling focused songs.

There are a few songs which ultimately don't quite pop, such as Kenny and All Along. There's nothing wrong with these tracks specifically, they just are a bit similar to other songs. This is a bit of an issue with Still Woozy generally, he feels like something of a one trick pony who is slightly struggling for material. This album is only half an hour long, and yet you still get the sense that he's slightly reusing previous ideas. This is something I've noticed with a lot of these bedroom pop type artists, perhaps there's only so many ideas you can developing by playing on your own with a loop station, and sadly we can't all be Kevin Parker.

I would love to be proven wrong on this, I'd love for Still Woozy to release another album where he completely reinvents his sound, however I would be very surprised.
