Pop music doesn't get much better than this album from the eccentric former punk pioneer with The Damned, Captain Sensible. Stringing up another 1970's rock cliche - a concept album - Sensible crafts the tale of our hero, Geoffrey Brown who is at first ostracised and then embraced for his braininess. This 1993 release on The Collector's Pipeline and Humbug Records (Cat#: TCP 009) features Geoffrey Brown's saga throughout its 11 songs, each with pop flourishes and riffs that will become deeply seated after repeated listens.
