Bobby Womack was involved in the music business in one form or another from the early 50s until his untimely death at the age of 70. This compilation on Capitol Records (Cat#: 72434-99696-2-9) was released in 1999 and has 19 tracks which trace the singer/songwriter/guitarist's biggest solo hits. Songs like "Lookin' For A Love", "The Preacher/ More Than I Can Stand", and"Woman's Gotta Have It" cemented Womack's status as a dude who knew how to bring the soul. Inducted into the Rock 'n' Roll Hall Of Fame in 2009, this album demonstrates Womack's credentials. Authenticated on discogs.com
