(This is just disgusting, disturbing, noisy, goregrind. You can't understand a word of it, so you are left with implications and that is quite messed up enough. Not for most of you. But if you wanna hear some really loud and insane shit, check this short 22 minute album.)
Not much to say here. I personally would be lying if I said I didn't have a great time listening to this absurd, messy, incomprehensible goregrind on repeat for a couple hours. The things that maybe is the weirdest about is is the pitch-shifted, utterly altered vocals... they sound like barfing and vomiting almost the whole way through. Thankfully this means I don't have to hear the lyrics. Now, for a genre called Goregrind, you know what the lyrics are. Also just look at the song titles. Its absurd nonsense and gross. I maybe should want to hear the lyrics if I am actively searching out music in a genre which gets its subgenre name from the theme of the lyrics. But no I don't. What I like about this music and this album is the primal intensity and the noisiness and the atmosphere and the feeling of calm that comes over me when I listen to something this bonkers. It's weird but when an album really kicks my eardrums' asses, a strange state of calmness overtakes me. This album and ones like it do that for me.
Oh and there are lots of heavy, really cool-sounding, almost staticy, guitar riffs in here. They are harsh and ugly and great. The drumming is maybe another highlight, its relentless and in your face and it stops and starts like a jack hammer to every inch of your body.
The samples that are mixed in to this album work really well... they are disturbing and they are off-putting and they give your ears a few seconds to breathe, and just as you are starting to understand the serial-killer quotes or whatever and the horror and disturbance overtakes you, THAT is when the entire band - drummer, bassist, and guitarist - come in with no lube and assaults you with some noisy dischordant "chord" and just like that you are back in the meat grinder. High Art.
Anyway, that's all I want to say about this. Its 33 tracks and 22 minutes of pure insanity. Check it out!
