3/4 of L.A. punk band X reunite to form The Knitters along with Dave Alvin and Johnny Ray Bartel. The results are dynamic and the rockabilly edge that was heard in their previous incarnation is heard even greater in this 2005 amalgamation. Released on Zoe Records (Cat#: 01143-1067-2) this baker dozen of songs offers a fine nostalgic trip for fans of either style. Doe and Cervenka still have that chemistry that sparks.
