They should have been arrested for this album, it was certainly an assault on my ears and punishable by banishment forever.
I was drawn to this album for no other reason than it had a cover of Dylan's 'Watching the River Flow'. It's a fairly standard interpretation of the song - but given the DP pedigree, I have included this version in my 'top 100 Dylan covers' chart.

Deep Purple doing pop rock covers. It isn't bad, nor is it necessary. Some are beefed up pretty well, in the Purple style. But some are bland as well. It's okay.
