This 1999 release on Renaissance Records (Cat#: RMED00176) by alt-country songstress Juice Newton comes long after her mainstream success of the 80s. She covers contemporary songwriters Tom Petty and Freddie Mercury, singing "Keepin' Me Alive" and "Crazy Little Thing Called Love" respectively. She sprinkles in a Buck Owens tune and a Boudleaux Bryant tune and writes one of the songs herself. It's a nice variety package. Authenticated on discogs.com
