TBH I’m not completely sure how I feel about this album. Sure it’s a powerful statement both musically and lyrically, but the primary subject matter is so brutally honest and raw in relation to sexual abuse it really is difficult to hear without wanting to throw up
However I keep coming back to the bravery of the victim ( lead singer Bella Vanek) and how making music and speaking out is central to her healing process and helping others in similar circumstances to understand any sort of abuse is not ok
