This album, along with Vol 2, was reissued under many different names starting as early as 1963:
- "Sings Freedom Songs" is a track for track reissue from 1963
- "Sings Gospel" and "Coming Home" are compilations from 1963 which each include most tracks from Vol 1 and some from 2
- "Little Richard Sings Spirituals" on LP is a track for track reissue of Vol 1 from an unknown year, likely in the 70s. The 8-Track version has a re-arranged track order and also includes 2 tracks from Vol 2
- "Little Richard Sings the Gospel" from 1995 is a mix of songs from Vol 1 and 2
- "Pure Faith" from 1998 is a mix of songs from Vol 1 and 2
- "God Is Real" from 1998 is a mix of songs from Vol 1 and 2
Little Richard really only recorded ~4 albums worth of gospel music, chances are if there's a gospel compilation, it features tracks from either Vol 1 and 2 or "The King of the Gospel Singers" from 1961 (which was produced by Quincy Jones and was on its own the more successful of Richard's gospel albums).
