"Of course, "Kind of blue" is his best selling album, but "Sketches of Spain" was always his second best selling. Really great album." Reply

"I've probably owned this record for 15 years but never got around to properly listening to it until after she died. I have to say the girl could sing. Love that voice. As for the record though...this is one of the biggest disappointments ever. The material is pretty darned dull." Reply

"The first album Elvis Presley recorded after leaving the army. It's arguably his best, most consistent, and most enjoyable album. Great songs here; dirty, dirty feeling, the lovely, girl of my best friend, and the blues, reconsider baby, Elvis wouldn't record anything like that for a while after ..." [+] Reply

"Baez is an important figure in the American folk revival and the development of folk rock, so some awareness of her is important. This is her debut album, and works well enough to give good idea of her singing and her style. It is also widely regarded as her most significant album. The songs are ..." [+] Reply

"This album is so wonderful, oh my god. I had no idea who Max Roach was (even liking jazz since my childhood), and I finished this album totally impressed. It is so fast-paced yet so meticulous, so angry yet so sensible. My favorite track is "Freedom Day", with the amazing Abbey Lincoln. Recommend!" Reply

"Unreal hands, especially love his use of octaves, really shines on 'Polka Dots and Moonbeams', and his cluster chords on 'In Your Own Sweet Way'. Has to be one of my favorite jazz albums of all time." Reply
