This 1986 release on Warner Bros. Records (Cat#: 9 25482-2) find the Canadian troubadour attempting to update his sound to the 80s. Like his fellow Canadian Leonard Cohen, Lightfoot had fallen out of consciousness for most folks south of the border at this time. Unlike Cohen, Lightfoot could never re-capture the magic that he had in the 60s and 70s. The best to be found here among the sanitized gloss is the album closer, "I'll Tag Along", but the listener has to wade through a lot to get there. Authenticated on discogs.com
