Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)
This album is rated in the top 2% of all albums on BestEverAlbums.com. This album has a Bayesian average rating of 79.3/100, a mean average of 78.6/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 79.7/100. The standard deviation for this album is 11.0.

Intriguing bunch of songs, but for me it lacks a bit of the rawness and the energy of some of his previous works.
Probably my favorite full-length DC project. Full-sounding production, no-holds-barred bars, and killer balance of headliner and features. Maybe nothing quite grabs me as much as the best Curry songs, but it's a hell of an experience.
“Melt My Eyez” sees curry embrace musical diversity. There is an admirable variety of beats on this album. Curry switches between trap, neo soul and even drum and bass without any real failings. Despite the differences in sound, Curry maintains a very consistent flow. It’s not exactly the same, but the cadence carries the same energy and builds solidity. The lyrics are a relative balance of personal insight and societal reflection. Denzel Curry’s observations are put through such an intimate lens that it removes any danger of preachiness. The album does hit a bit of a dip in the center. It doesn’t become awful, but the lyricism and structure drop to mediocre. Even with this lag, “Melt My Eyes” is a huge step forward.
De la Curry brings me, myself and I and also my revolver. Great variation in production with work from Jpegmafia, Kal Banx and more. Some layers going on here. So much competition in hip hop right now, but this is definitely in the top of hip hop albums in the first half of 2022.
A really forward thinking, unique rap album blending jazz, gospel and R&B instrumentals with cinematic lyrics and themes inspired by Tarantino, Samurai movies and anime.
Little bit underwhelming for Denzel, still all the tracks were decent/good.
Okay this is Denzel Curry's best work. Melt Session and Walkin set up what could be an outstanding album – in truth it's more of a mixed bag from there, with low low like X-wing just boring trap crap, and Zatoichi being a pretty nice collab with Slowthai that is a fun addition toward the end of the album.
