Denzel was hungry on this project. He gave it his all and did an amazing job. Its not a Good Kid Maad City but its pretty sick. When I say that, I mean flow wise and rhythms of the vocal performance. Ta13oo goes hard though!
best album of 2018
At only 23 years old, Denzel Curry releases his third album conceived as a hybrid triptych that reveals all the versatility of the rapper. For this new project, Denzel chose to work around three distinct parts (Light, Gray and Dark) whose output was spread over three days. Despite the title of his first part (Light), the rapper continues to advance in the dark on this third album, where he evokes the hatred, the suffering and the dramas of a youth he knew. More fit than ever, the former member of Raider Klan, traces his path and asserts himself as a hybrid talent that nothing seems to stop. Although "Imperial" contained some of his best songs, "TA13OO" is a masterpiece of the current trap and is therefore Denzel best album.

Another great discovery thanks to BEA - such great lyrical delivery, vocal dexterity and the beats are terrific as well.
This is great. Denzel brought his A-game musically. Can't wait to see what he does next!

One of the top hip-hop albums of 2018. Far exceeded my expectations. Not your typical 2010s mumble/trap album

Best trap album of the the decade. Every song is a banger with amazing production and catchy lyrics.

Starts strong, but then becomes a pretty homogenous trap album. That said, it sounds amazing, and Curry has a ton of versatility as an MC.

Consistently good album. Nothing too special but nothing bad. I appreciated some of the R&B influences in this, it might have been nice if there were more.
