Rating this just based on the music... I will stand by "Blame It On The Rain" as being a good song. 8/10 on that one. But everything else, including the 4 other hit singles, just aren't that good. It isn't "that bad" either, but mediocre at best. The fact that this album scored five singles at the top of the US charts (#2, three #1's, and #4), says more about the state of music in 1989/90 than it does about this album. Alternative music was on the rise, and grunge was just around the corner...
