The initial release by this Minneapolis hip-hop group relies on the talents of Executive Producers Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis to provide the beats they brought to previous efforts by Janet Jackson and the like. The group composes most of the tracks themselves and also a lot of the music. Released on Perspective Records (Cat#: 28968 1001 2) in 1991, the dozen tracks here show off the individual talents of the group, be it through jazzy hip hop or smooth swing. Stokley, Keri Lewis and O'Dell all have a chance to shine here. Authenticated on discogs.com
