Rating metrics: Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)

This album is rated in the top 2% of all albums on BestEverAlbums.com. This album has a Bayesian average rating of 79.4/100, a mean average of 78.7/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 79.5/100. The standard deviation for this album is 11.4.

Absolute classic, Born on the Bayou, Proud Mary and a stomping version of Good Golly Miss Molly are standouts here for me! The extended jams do go on a little bit at times but a lot to enjoy here, that powerful gritty vocal of Fogerty's sounds fantastic on this!

It's a decent album, just a tad less inspired than other CCR releases. Unless you're a big-time CCR fan, you'd be forgiven for passing on purchasing this one. Highlights include Born on the Bayou and Proud Mary, but overall an unsurprising and forgettable release from this iconic band.

First CCR album I bought. It has influenced my own guitar playing a lot.
Despite the two long jams I still think it's a interesting and fun record.

A great album which despite it's age doesn't sound that dated. The audio delivery from the re-issued vinyl is superb. Excellent psychedelic guitar throughout makes it a really immersive listening experience.

My favorite CCR album. Born On The Bayou is the show-stopper here. Probably the most true to the band's swamp rock genre.

This occupies a nice space where the band gives you a couple of straightforward would-be classics, but is also able to stretch out without being totally self-indulgent.

Fin dal titolo, l'album dei Creedence più vicino alle sonorità "swamp", quelle del delta del Mississippi, un rock molto legato al blues e che evoca demoni e trasuda umidità.
