I am enjoying this album so much more than I used to. Although Lauren Talley is my favorite singer, I used to only like two songs from this album. This was her third solo album, and it has a much more contemporary sound than her first two albums. I was really disappointed in this release when it first came out, because I loved the Southern Gospel sound of her first two albums so much. With the exception of two tracks, I didn't care for the contemporary sound of this album at all at first. For years I only listened to two tracks. I don't know why, but a couple of years ago, I decided to give this album another chance. It was probably because Lauren is my favorite vocalist. Anyway, I now appreciate all these songs much more than I used to. I guess they grew on my after I decided to give the album another chance. I still wish she'd record more albums with the Southern Gospel sound of her first two releases, but I can now enjoy this contemporary sounding album as well. (Edited)
