Led by singer/songwriter Martha Davis, the west coast band The Motels emerged from the punk underground to put out a handful of memorable pop gems in the 80's. This retrospective on Capitol Records (Cat#: 72438-63706-2-4) came out in 2005, and features the best known hits of the group, including "Only The Lonely", "Suddenly Last Summer", and my personal favorite "Take The L". Included are interesting liner notes by Davis herself. Authenticated on discogs.com
