Released in 1999 on Spectrum Records (Cat#: 5441292)this features 18 tracks by the Birmingham, U.K. vocal group The Fortunes. They were one of many groups who benefited from the so-called British Invasion craze of the mid-sixties in the U.S. and had a string of charting hits during that time for the squeaky clean ensemble. The fortunes faded as fortunes faded on the Merseybeat scene, and music moved in a more psychedelic direction of the late sixties. Authenticated on discogs.com
