From the Bob Welch era, a version of the band that Fleetwood and McVie have a tendency to forget for some reason. "Mystery To Me" is the second best album the band ever released, following only "Rumours." Every song on it is excellent.

Hypnotized is one of the greatest Fleetwood Mac songs ever. Emerald Eyes, Why, The City and Miles Away also stand out as great Fleetwood Mac originals, and their cover is For Your Love is arguably better than the Yardbirds' original version. Mystery to Me is an underrated classic.
Strangely enough, Hypnotized is one of my least favorites here. Favorite Tracks : Miles Away, The City,Believe Me and Emerald Eyes.

Avarage Fleedwood Mac Album.
Some good Bob Welch Songs like: Emerald Eyes or Hypnotized, just 1 good Christine McVie song: Why.

I debate whether this is Fleetwood Mac's best, (Of their first three or so incarnations) but is is definitely a guilty pleasure with "Emerald Eyes," "Forever," with its hypnotic guitar riffs, and of course, "Hypnotized." Perhaps Bob Welch was reading Carlos Castaneda at the time he channeled that song? So different from most of Bob's other writing!. The other songs that he penned give a glimpse into his writing and composition style that showed up on his solo albums. (I love Bob and much of his work, but will be the first to acknowledge his cheese making as well. "Precious Love?" Ouch...)
