This album I had to go back and forth over. The first half of the album was decent, but pretty underwhelming. I was tempted to rate it lower, but a couple songs on the second half of the album changed my mind. This album is very poppy. About as poppy as any Sara Bareliies album or anyone like her. Now if you’re already a fan of Ingrid, then you’ll probably like this album as she doesn’t deviate from her sound. But if you’ve never heard of her, I’d say give this album a listen. It’s worth checking out.
Pretty good indie pop with some fairly good orchestration... still a rather weak album in some aspects, especially lyrically.
