While this is a compilation pulling the Bartók and Stravinsky recordings from other material already issued, the Dutilleux piece is new, and I believe this is the first officially released recording of this composition.
Dutilleux composed this piece with Anne-Sophie Mutter in mind and dedicated it to her. This piece really highlights her talent.
The Bartók recording is good but not spectacular, but the Stravinsky recording is wonderful.
