Verocai is a complete unknown in Brazil (doesn't even has a cult status). This 1st record of his was a bust and he spent the next 3 decades working as an arranger for jingles until he released other albuns _ which are also mostly unheard of.
The record isn't bad, but not really brilliant either _ it's very similar to what was being done at the time, but with poorer vocals and no standout tracks. But definitely worth a listen.
