Often overlooked sophomore solo outing for Morrissey. While not as strong as his debut or what was to follow, "Kill Uncle" is not without charm. The apparent problem lies not with Morrissey himself, but the band and producer he assembled for this effort. They simply don't mesh in Moz/Johnny Marr fashion. The lyrical playfulness is still there, yet the singer sometimes appears bored with the proceedings.
Some weak sauce from Moz. The first album/collection of songs in his career that's truly disappointing.
Morrissey not a bad effort (Edited)
I still think this is Morrissey's weakest effort, but it is not without its own particular charm. Musically, it is quite different from the other albums, but I have never been a big fan of Found Found Found.

Underrated, there are some great songs here especially on Side 1. Give it a chance.
