DIIV may have doven (diven?) off the deep end with this one. I enjoyed their last album which was a nice departure from their sleep surf rock of old..
To accompany this band through all these years. Their failures and successes... it seems to me that everything has been recorded to arrive in this album. The influences of smashing pumpkins and bv are obvious, but in no way does this album justice. Great lyrics and the songs get better with every listen. Nice to see where they've come since Oshin
