Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. This has to be the weakest album of theirs, unfortunately. But it still averages out to about 3.5+ stars for me. First 3 tracks are stellar, and Sugar Almond is hauntingly beautiful. The rest is a bit hit or miss, or kind of forgettable.
