Rating metrics: Help Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)

This album has a Bayesian average rating of 66.3/100, a mean average of 63.2/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 63.2/100. The standard deviation for this album is 8.8.

Best track of the album is Oldie and every time Frank Ocean makes a appearance it's very good other then that just a decent album

Theoretically this album is terrible. Most of the rapping is mundane and doesn't really focus on anything and describing the beats as minimal would be giving it too much credit. But Odd Future are young, they've got energy and a passion - eh, I dunno, they're just pretty cool guys. Tyler finishes the album "Just admit, not only are we talented, we're rad as fuck, bitches", I might go as far to say the latter is true.

I haven't listened to the full album yet, but I will say that Oldie is pure genius!!!!! If you would've told me that the best hip-hop song of 2012 was going to be ten minutes long, I probably would've just laughed, but no that song is absolutely brilliant!!!!
