Very obviously influenced the Stone Roses. I really like this album. Ahead of its time

If you didn't know you'd never pick this as Primal Scream . Worth checking out if not for any other reason than to see how far Bobby G progressed with subsequent releases.
It's Primal Scream, but not as we know it. Surpisingly melodic debut, but I do prefer the later trippier, experimental, rockier Primal Scream. Nothing spectacular, but nothing awful either. I do like it, more than the self titled follow up.
