Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A bit less consistent than their last album. Very cinematic style in these songs. The lyrics have gotten a little deeper and their is ore variety. Everything still sounds pretty good though. I would definitely check out the deluxe version.

I have a feeling that Neon Trees are going to end up being one of those bands that releases the same album over and over for the next few years. Hopefully I’m wrong, but as of now, what they do works and it works well. Granted, most of the music sounds like it could’ve come off their last album, but their last album was very good. This album isn’t as good as the last one, but it’s still quite good.
